Sara | Signature Session
I call this a "Signature Session" only because Sara responded to a Casting Call I had earlier this year. My idea sounded ah-mazing in my head, and I had the set designed and ready to go for a good 4 months or so, and thought, "Okay, let's get this thing on camera!"
I went out and bought materials to diy some props. I hounded friends for some, and then, stayed up super late putting on the finishing touches.
I gathered my goodies, loaded them in the car, said "hello" to Sara.
After some seriously funny drama, we made it to our 2nd (yes 2nd) location. This was an improv, and I am SO glad, because the light was beautiful dancing on the tree tops, and Sara looked stunning in her pastel pink flowered dress.
We were good to go.
I began setting up shop, and it hit me...
"This isn't going to work."
I immediately told Sara... "yeah, sometimes I get these ideas, and when I see them in person, I knock 'em", and that's exactly what I did. The hard work diy props were now thrown to the side and out of the way.
It was just Sara, a few stemmed flowers, that gorgeous golden light, and a hand-me-down chair.
